Album Options

It was such great fun photographing your wedding and now the real fun begins – designing an album to commemorate the event that will last a lifetime!

A few quick steps and we will be on our way:

First – We need to figure out how many pages:
This will be partly determined by how many images you want to have in the album. Typically you want to keep the number low, like 4 or 5 to a spread (two pages or sides). The typical album being about 24-28 pages (12-14 spreads), so your looking for something like 60-80 images in total.

If you want to pick 60-70 images that are ‘must haves’ for the album, I can fill in the rest to tell a story of the day.

HERE is a form to fill out that will help you organize your image selections

But before I can lay it out and send you a proof we will have to decide on a size and style of book. There are dozens of different styles.

Second – We need to figure out the type of book you want:
My ‘Deluxe Wedding Album’ is a premium leather bound slim line modern album that is characterized by real photographic prints printed on high quality matte photographic paper mounted to rigid matte board pages (from a minimum of 10 pages(20 sides) to a maximum of 40 (80 sides) that are then hot bound together with cloth hinge binding and then bound overall with a leather spine and a photo embossed on the cover.  The attractive minimalist design is of the highest quality continuous-page binding. The images are flush mount – meaning there are no border edges to the pages.

You can download and view a brief description of the Deluxe Wedding Albums, and some of the options HERE.

The standard version is a vertical 9″ x 13″ (3:4 proportion).  If you would prefer you could do a horizontal version (9” x 13”) or a square (12” x 12”) instead of the vertical that is fine as well, just let me know.

Third – Size and format:

The standard Deluxe Wedding Album comes in several shapes and sizes and is leather a bound 9″ x 13″ vertical.

We can go REALLY BIG with an album – up to 14″ x 18″ or as small as 6″ x 8″.

The format can be in the following proportions:
2:3 – 8″ x 12″, 9″ x 14″, 12″ x 18″
3:4 – 8″ x 11″, 9″ x 13″, 12″ x 16″, 14″ x 18″
1:1 – 10″ x 10″, 12″ x 12″, 14″ x 14″, 16″ x 16″
4:3 – 11″ x 8″, 13″ x 9″, 16″ x 12″

The most typical size being a 3:4 format with a size of 9″ x 13″.

Fourth – the Extras:

If you want something beyond the standard leather bound book, there are dozens of other options.

You can also download “The Full Epoca Catalog” which offers many more styles and options HERE. (it is a LARGE file and may take a couple of minutes to download 🙂

And finally you can find a price list of all the album options HERE.

All are PDF files that you can save to your computer and look at off line if you wish.

The styles of books that you have seen as my demo books are the “Bellagio” style with dark brown leather and a photo on the cover, the and the “Las Vegas” style with a Plexiglas cover and metallic image under it.

Parent Albums:

We can do that! 🙂
If you want a smaller duplicate album for your parents their is a discount when ordering both at the same time.  If you wanted to do a parent album with a different interior layout, there would be an additional charge.

Spice it up a bit:
Many of the covers can be customized with embossed lettering or other type.
The page edges can be guilded with gold or silver.
The Deluxe Albums can be ordered with custom boxes with photos on them, or suitcases for easy transportation and safe storage.

There is a 15% discount when ordering more than one album at the same time.
